Not So Scarlet Letters

Centuries ago, many churchgoing people were not ashamed of their prejudice, favoritism, and racism. Generations ago, many Sunday worshipers expressed sexist views without blushing or apologizing. These sad examples remind us that sin can get comfortable even within the church. What sins might be finding a welcome home among us today? What aren’t we ashamed of that we should be? And how can we purify our community as we fix our eyes on the Savior who purified us from all our sins?
