We cry out to the God who is control of the wind, the waves, and all of our days, trusting that he will calm our storms at the right time and in the right way. ✦ There are times in life when we just can’t. ✦ Matthew 8:23 — Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. ✦ Matthew 8:24a — Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. ✦ Matthew 8:24b — But Jesus was sleeping. ✦ Matthew 8:25 — The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Lord, save us!
