Despite their character, the three men ended up in the fire. Actually, because of their character, they faced near certain death, a reality they were fully aware of. Yet another showed up in the fire to save them, a glorious reminder that our Savior shows up when we are threatened by an unfaithful world. Whether or not he saves us from earthly trials, we worship him for saving us from every sin.
